Founder's Journey
A story of passion, dedication, and scientific innovation.

Dr.Binoy Sebastian Vettical is a veterinarian having 34 years of experience in Animal Reproduction and Embryo Transfer field. His first 19 years of experience was in Kerala Livestock Development Board (Former Indo Swiss Project), a pioneer centre for frozen semen production in South East Asia. He is one of the veterinarians who have involved in the pioneer work of cattle embryo transfer in India since the early 1990s. Dr.Binoy is trained in Embryo Transfer Technology during 1993 from Swiss Embryo Transfer (SET), Switzerland.
Dr.Binoy Sebastian Vettical has completed his Post Graduation (M.V.Sc.) in Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology and Obstetrics and secured an OGPA of 9.3 out of 10 which is the highest OGPA in the Kerala Agricultural University among the M.V.Sc students of 2007 admission.
During his career in KLD Board, he could standardize the procedure of cattle embryo transfer in crossbred cattle and achieved the embryo collection rate of 6-7 viable embryos per super ovulation with a conception rate of 50%. The world’s first direct frozen embryo transfer crossbred calf under tropical condition was produced by him on 23rd June 1996.He could impart training in cattle embryo transfer to 40 veterinarians and in the field of Animal Production Sciences to around 2000 veterinarians from all over India and from other countries like Ethiopia and Srilanka. He got an opportunity to work as one of the four members in the central monitoring committee constituted by Government of India for evaluation and accreditation of Embryo Transfer laboratories in India and to prepare Minimum Standard Protocol for the production and transfer of cattle Embryo. He worked in KLD Board in the post of Deputy General Manager (BT) till March 2010.
During March 2010 he got an opportunity to work with Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority(ADFCA), UAE to establish embryo transfer technology in camels . Under this project he could set up a laboratory for camel embryo transfer and could meet a success rate of 6 viable embryos per super ovulation with 60% transfer success.
In Decemeber 2012, he got an oppurtunity to work for a research project on cloning in camel. The project was established under the patronage and guidance of H.H.Sheikh Hamadan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum,Crown Prince of Dubai.
To be at the forefront of reproductive biotechnology, delivering innovative and effective solutions that enhance livestock productivity, preserve valuable genetic lines, and contribute to global food security. We strive for excellence in research, service, and education, ensuring that the benefits of modern science are accessible and impactful.
